India’s endeavour to push themselves out of their comfort zone by batting first in the inconsequential third ODI at the Harare Sports Club almost backfired on Monday as Sikandar Raza slammed a 95-ball 115. The hosts couldn’t outgun India’s total of 289, falling short by 13 runs, but Axar Patel admitted that Raza did give the visitors a scare. The foundation for the victory though was established by Shubhman Gill’s maiden ODI century. His run of form, according to the left-arm spinner, is the biggest takeway for India from the series.
