Sikandar Raza capitalizes on Deepak Chahar’s slower bumper

Raza escaped a close stumping chance off Kuldeep Yadav when he was on 23 off 31, and then brandished a six and a four off Deepak Chahar to kickstart the acceleration after Zimbabwe were bogged down by the pressure of regular wickets. The in-form middle-order batter showed the stomach for a fight as he crossed fifty and struck three fours in a Shardul Thakur over which reaped 20, leaving Zimbabwe needing 95 off the last 10 overs. India were erratic on the field while there were a handful of no-balls as well, to go with the boundaries that Raza routinely struck, as India started to feel the heat.
