Sikandar Raza’s splendid 115 very nearly eclipsed Shubman Gill’s maiden ODI century but India averted the scare from the Zimbabwean middle-order batter to win the third and final ODI in Harare by 13 runs on Monday, August 22. Gill, who peeled off 15 fours and a six in his magnificent 97-ball 130, registered the highest individual ODI score by an Indian against the Chevrons as the visitors posted a stiff 289/8 despite Brad Evans returning his maiden fifer. Evans then partnered Raza in a brilliant 104-run eighth wicket stand off only 77 deliveries. But India kept their composure to register their third cleansweep of a bilateral ODI series this year
India got the win but what a knock that was from Sikandar Raza.
He’s having a pretty special year. #ZIMvIND pic.twitter.com/YLH0EQPOra
