Sikandar Raza’s fifty has kept Zimbabwe afloat in the tall 290-run chase versus India in the third and final ODI at the Harare Sports Club on Monday. Deepak Chahar jolted Zimbabwe early and they lost the plot after the 15th over.
Earlier, Shubman Gill led the charge with his 130-run knock as India posted 289 /8 in 50 overs. The youngster showed his class and built his innings at a fair clip. Gill’s enterprising innings was the main reason that India managed to post a formidable total to bolster their chances of a clean sweep.
Deepak Chahar picks up his second wicket as Marumani departs.
