Babar Azam’s pristine straight drive is worth admiring

Pakistan had two promising stands for the second and the third wickets, but in both those cases, the batters took their time to settle in, and failed to kick on. Babar Azam, through a pretty scratchy innings, managed a 91, and apart from that, there weren’t too many contributions from the middle order. But the Netherlands bowlers can take all the credit for keeping it quiet with their accurate lines and lengths. Kingma struck early, Dutt kept it tight in the middle-overs, Cooper and Ahamd chipped in with vital blows, before de Leede came back in and cleaned the tail up. Azam may not have been at his fluent best, but this gorgeous straight drive was worth admiring.
