Ollie Pope brings up fifty as wickets tumble around him

Only 6 overs were possible in the afternoon session but the morning more than made up for it, with six wickets falling in a high-octane start to the Lordโ€™s Test match. There was ample help for the faster bowlers and England were guilty of squandering their wickets rather easily. In the middle of all this, Ollie Pope scored a fluent 61* off only 87 balls, laying into anything full or on the shorter side as the South African bowlers worked towards getting their radars right with some appreciable assistance on offer.
