Adam Lyth engaged his beast mode in The Hundred as he smashed four sixes in a row. He opened the face of the bat and did not intend to keep the square drive down, just clearing the boundary to fetch his first six off Reece Topley. Lyth went straight down the ground next ball to attain his second maximum in a row. He then got forward and carves the freebie with an open face over cover, nearly clearing the LED boards outside the cushions. A good length delivery on off-stump was finally swung over mid-wicket as he completed a quartet of sixes in an over at Kennington Oval, London.
