Jordan Thompson came up with the best Hundred bowling figures of the season as London Spirit nudged aside Manchester Originals by 52 runs to register a second win on the bounce and move to the top of the table. Originals were relying on an explosive start from Jos Buttler in the 161-run chase but England’s white-ball captain departed for 6, skying Thompson as Mason Crane backpedalled from short third to grab a difficult diving catch behind the keeper.
