Eoin Morgan scored 47 from 29 balls as London Spirit defeated Oval Invincibles by three runs in a Hundred 2022 thriller. Morgan quit as England white-ball captain in June with his final two innings for the national side resulting in successive ducks against the Netherlands in ODI cricket earlier that month.
But the Spirit skipper rediscovered his mojo at The Kia Oval, slamming three sixes and five fours before being caught on the fence off Reece Topley as his side racked up 171-6 from the stipulated 100 balls, an innings in which Zak Crawley peeled off four fours in his 11-ball 21.
