England’s squad for the upcoming Test series against South Africa marks the return of Ollie Robinson, whose last Test appearance was against Australia in Hobart in January 2022. He has made the squad of 14 for the first two matches of the three-match series and will be in line to add to his nine caps. Durham’s Matthew Potts, one of the beneficiaries of Robinson’s injury-enforced absence, retained his place in the squad after taking an impressive 18 wickets from his four Tests this summer.
