James Vince led the charge with 71 from 41 balls as defending champions Southern Brave registered a facile nine-wicket victory over Welsh Fire in the The Hundred opener of 2022. It was a lopsided affair as Brave limited Fire to 107-7 from their 100 balls in Southampton and then overhauled that total in just 69 balls as skipper Vince provided the star turn.
