Dimuth Karunaratne and Dhananjaya de Silva have helped Sri Lanka push the lead past 300 against Pakistan on Day 3 of the second Test in Galle. At stumps, Sri Lanka were 176/5, with a lead of 323. Karunaratne and de Silva are unbeaten on 27 and 30 respectively.
Earlier, Ramesh Mendis took five wickets to help bowl out Pakistan for 231 on day three of the second Test on Tuesday. Pakistan’s innings concluded in the morning session after the tourists resumed the day on 191-7, in reply to Sri Lanka’s first innings of 378.
