Resurgent India skipper Rohit Sharma admitted it was tough to watch the Edgbaston Test from the sidelines as the side he was to captain performed poorly in the last two days to suffer a seven-wicket defeat. With that, India missed a golden opportunity to complete an elusive series win in the shires. Rohit contracted COVID-19 ahead of the England series and revealed that he struggled with his symptoms for the first few days but his health improved gradually over the last couple of days, clearing his availability for the forthcoming white-ball series.
