Ollie Pope goes after Bumrah’s sucker ball to depart for 10

It’s happened once more in the Edgbaston Test match. A no-ball at the fag end of the over leads to an extra ball being bowled and a wicket falls on the surplus delivery. The 7th ball that Bumrah bowled elicited a loose drive from Ollie Pope and he nicks off. It’s a third wicket for Bumrah, who has also bowled four no balls.

Tea will be taken at 16:30 local time. It is still pouring down and small puddles are forming on the uncovered areas. This delay might be longer than the previous two breaks as it will take time to get the ground ready for play.
