India lost both their openers in the morning session on the opening day of the postponed fifth Test against England at Edgbaston. James Anderson managed to remove Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara before rain brought an early end to the session. Resuming the proceedings after the rain died down, Virat Kohli got a thick inside edge on the very first ball off Matthew Potts. The former Indian skipper was very lucky as the lemon cut did not rattle the stumps. India are in a spot of bother having lost three wickets for 64, and need Kohli to stabilize the innings.

Potts to Virat:
Slightly short off the length and Kohli gets an inside edge, the latter is lucky as it misses the stump by a few inches 🤞#ENGvIND #SirfSonyPeDikhega pic.twitter.com/xvKtz2DeZ7
