Matthew Potts draws the false shot from Will Young

Will Young is gone and England topple the opening domino. The ball just moved away a touch and Young only managed to edge it to third slip. It is a soft dismissal and New Zealand lose their opener as Kane Williamson comes out to bat. New Zealand did bat out the tricky little period before Lunch without losing a wicket but Potts has drawn first blood.

Earlier, England fetched a first innings lead of 31 runs. There was a huge round of applause for both Jonny Bairstow and Jamie Overton, who stitched a game-changing stand of 241. After losing their 8th wicket, England immediately lose their last two and they would be delighted with the comeback after being in tatters at 55/6.
