Daryl Mitchell becomes the first NZ batter to score 3 successive Test tons against England

Daryl Mitchell came down the track against Jack Leach and smacked his third six of the innings to bring up the hundred. He becomes the first New Zealand player to fetch three hundreds against England in a series. Having stepped out, Mitchell idn’t get too close to the pitch of the ball and that allowed him to extend the arms on the lofted drive as he cleared mid-off with ease. The ball sailed over the ropes to give Mitchell his fourth Test hundred. He has adroitly led New Zealand’s fight in the series along with Tom Blundell, who departed for 55.
