Jack Leach strikes first ball by pinning Will Young plumb

This is such a soft dismissal for Will Young and the New Zealand opener must be livid with himself. Introduced into the attack fairly early, Jack Leach tossed the first ball of the 13th over up around middle and it straightened with the angle. Young was pushing forward in defence, but his bat got stuck besides the front-pad as he got beaten on the inside edge. The right-hander fell the need to go upstairs after the umpire adjudged him out only to waste a review. New Zealand have slid to 35 for 2 and would hope for a rearguard act from skipper Kane Williamson, who is joined by Devon Conway at the crease.
