David Willey has accounted for Vikramjit Singh in the shortened second ODI at the VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen, in which Netherlands won the toss and opted to bat first. The left-arm quick surprises the batter with a short ball around off, and Vikramjit lazily pulls without much conviction to ends up doling an easy catch to the fielder at square leg who’s inside the circle.
The game has been reduced to 41 overs. Water seeping under the covers was the reason action was delayed, but a bit of rolling meant the playing conditions were good to go. The pitch is pretty much the same, but might just assist spin a bit later on.
Our first wicket of the day ! @david_willey loves wickets in the powerplay 🙌
