Liam Livingstone left the field twice during Netherlands’ chase suffering from calf tightness and the Dawid Malan was consequently asked to bowl the final over of the match – his first in ODIs. Malan secured his maiden wicket in the 50-over format when he had last man Philippe Boissevain caught behind by Jos Buttler. It was a fitting end to the day for Malan who had earlier smacked a ton to make mincemeat of Netherlands in tandem with Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone and Phil Salt as England posted a mammoth 498 for four on the board.
The closing stages of an emphatic victory.
