Liton Das flashes at his own peril as Bangladesh implode

Bangladesh continued to stay on the backfoot in the opening Test against West Indies but staged a remarkable comeback post lunch on the third day to keep themselves in the hunt. By Tea, they fetched a lead of 48 runs with two set batsmen at the crease in Shakib Al Hasan (53*) and Nurul Hasan (49*), who managed to bat out the session unscathed. If Bangladesh ever had any hope of clawing their way back into the contest, Shakib Al Hasan was the one they relied on after Liton Das’ dismissal had left the visitors in a spot of bother at 100/5. The right-hander flashed at a wide one to be caught in the cordon.
