A key architect of India’s series-levelling victory at Rajkot, Avesh Khan emerged as the pick of the bowlers at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium tonight. Having picked just two wickets in his first five T20Is, the 25-year old player snared four wickets in the 4th T20I against South Africa which India had to win at any cost to keep the series alive. With Rishabh Pant bringing him back into the attack in the 14th over, Avesh struck thrice as the dismissals of Rassie van der Dussen (20), Marco Jansen (20) and Keshav Maharaj (0) stalled the momentum of the Proteas.
