Centurion Dawid Malan and captain Eoin Morgan got out in the same over – the 45th of the innings – and at 414/4 with five overs to go, it looked at that point that England wouldn’t really go on to overhaul their tally of 481. But Liam Livingstone hit the Dutch side like a tornado as he hammered 66 off 22 balls, including 32 off an over by Philippe Boissevain, to propel England to a record total. 84 runs came off the last five overs as Livingstone capped off the leather hunt that England subjected Netherlands to at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen.
A fitting way to finish our innings from @liaml4893! 💪
Just two runs short of scoring 500 😅
