BCCI has decided to send KL Rahul to Germany for treatment of his groin injury. The India opener and vice-captain is set to miss the trip to England, where India is scheduled to play seven games. Rahul is likely to fly out to Germany by the end of this month or early July, as per Cricbuzz.
Rahul was named vice-captain under Rohit Sharma for the England tour but the injury setback means the Indian selectors will have to name another deputy. After the Edgbaston Test, India’s white ball encounters span from July 7 and 17 with T20Is preceding the ODI series.
