Arshdeep Singh, who has earned a call-up to the Indian side thanks to his proficient death bowling in the IPL, was seen practicing a simulated yorker training under bowling coach Paras Mhambrey’s supervision. Mhambrey stationed a baseball mitt in front of the stumps and placed a bottle about six inches away from the wickets for Arshdeep to aim. The young left-arm seamer is known for his bag of variations that allow him to maintain a decent economy rate at the death.
India meet South Africa in the first of five T20Is at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on 9 June.
