(Video) Matthew Pots has Tom Latham nicking behind

Wickets continued to fall frequently in the Lord’s Test as New Zealand found the going tough once again in the morning session on the second day. After bringing the match in the balance by skittling England out for 141 in the morning, the visitors lost three wickets for the addition of just 38 runs to sit precariously with a lead of 29 runs. Tom Latham bided his time at the crease but he too perished just minutes before the lunch break. New Zealand would want to post a decent total for the hosts and there would be huge expectations from the lower middle order.

Brief scores: New Zealand 132 & 38/3 (Matty Potts 2/11, James Anderson 1/14) lead England 141 (Zak Crawley 43; Tim Southee 4/55, Trent Boult 3/21) by 29 runs
