Dinesh Karthik has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL code of conduct during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The RCB finisher admitted to the Level 1 offence under Article 2.3 of the IPL Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction.
RCB are slated to take on Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The two teams have clashed 26 times, with RR winning 11 and RCB emerging victorious on 13 occasions. Since 2018, RR have come out on top in four matches while RCB have conquered five.
