(Photo) Bangladesh score best-ever total for a batting card featuring six ducks

Tottering at 24/5 in the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh staged a valiant comeback led by the experienced Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das to put 365/10 on the board. In the process, they made a record of scoring the highest total by any team in first-class cricket where at least six batters bagged a duck. South Africa, pegged back by 5 ducks, managed 390 against England in Johannesburg way back in 1938.

Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mosaddek Hossain, Khaled Ahmed and Ebadot Hossain could not contribute to the teamโ€™s cause but Mushiqur and Liton did the repair job adroitly to help the hosts attain a respectable, record-breaking score.
