South Africa, pegged back by 5 ducks, managed 390 against England in Johannesburg way back in 1938.
Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mosaddek Hossain, Khaled Ahmed and Ebadot Hossain could not contribute to the team’s cause but Mushiqur and Liton did the repair job adroitly to help the hosts attain a respectable, record-breaking score.
