Greg Barclay, International Cricket Council chairman, has revealed that the world governing body is planning to reintroduce neutral umpires. The ICC had to designate home umpires due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Barclay also spoke about the ICC World Test Championship and feels the tournament has helped the traditional format develop in a bigger way. He also acknowledged that giving hosting rights to the United States of America will help in expanding the game, stating that it extends opportunities to fans, players and partners within the region.
