(Video) New Zealand keeper-bat Katey Martin announces retirement

New Zealand Women’s wicketkeeper-bat Katey Martin drew curtains on her international and domestic career spanning 21 years, on Wednesday, May 18.

Martin made her New Zealand debut in whites, in what turned out to be her only Test appearance, against India in November 2003, and went on to feature in 103 ODIs and 95 T20Is, in her record 19-year international career. Her 169-game domestic one-day career is a New Zealand record for both men and women. Martin said her mind was pretty much made up regarding retirement before that Pakistan clash.
