KL Rahul is on a run-a-ball 18, with his strike-rate being bolstered when he picked up Umesh Yadav for a six. The powerplay has not gotten away from KKR despite not arresting a wicket. Quinton de Kock was dropped at third man by debutant Abhijeet Tomar off Umesh, and then proceeded to hit a six. He took the charge in the early part of this powerplay.
Lucknow need a win to seal a playoff spot, and they have come in on the back of two losses. On the other hand, KKR need to win by a fat margin and then hope for a few other results to go their way if they are to qualify.
That’s a well made 50-run partnership between KL Rahul and QDK.
