(Video) Brisbane Heat end 11-year association with BBL top-scorer Chris Lynn

Brisbane Heat will be drawing curtains on their 11-year association with Chris Lynn, the club announced on Wednesday, May 11. Heat confirmed that a new deal will not be offered to the 32-year-old power-hitter after their poor campaign in BBL 11 that saw them finish 7th. Lynn had stepped down as captain of the side prior to the 2021-22 edition of BBL, with Jimmy Peirson taking over the reins.

Lynn has been synonymous with the franchise over the years and has led the team 50 times. Overall, he has played 102 games for them and is BBL’s leading run-getter with over 3000 runs to his name.
