Kolkata Knight Riders stayed in the hunt for a playoff berth with a 52-run win over Mumbai Indians. In pursuit of 165, MI managed just 113 to cop their ninth loss of the season. Jasprit Bumrah bagged his maiden IPL five-wicket haul to reiterate his class but the Mumbai batters failed to back up his wondrous efforts. Four runs and a douible whammy in his second, a triple-wicket maiden in the third and just one in the final over – Bumrah was phenomenal on the night and it was a shame the batters let him down.
