Glamorgan fell agonizingly short of pulling off a run chase as the LV=Insurance County Championship Division Two match at Derby ended in a thrilling draw. Set 331 in 55 overs, Marnus Labuschagne’s 85 and Sam Northeast’s 81 put Glamorgan on course before quick Ryan Sidebottom kindled Derbyshire’s victory hopes with 4 for 50. The pendulum swung either way on a couple of occasions but the exciting game ended in a stalemate, eventually.
