(Video) Batting virtuoso Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his birthday today

Legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar turned 49 on Sunday and celebrated the special occasion with his loved ones. Tendulkar took to Twitter to share pictures from his birthday bash. The Master Blaster drew curtains on his decorated Test career after registering 15,921 runs, including 51 centuries in the longest format, most by any player.

Tendulkar is at the top of the run-scoring charts in the ODI format as well with 18,426 runs, including 49 tons. The veteran cricketer represented the India team in six World Cups in a career that spanned almost 24 years. He was a part of the squad that brought home glory in the 2011 ODI World Cup.
