Milne, who suffered a hamstring injury in Chennai Super Kings’ first match against Kolkata Knight Riders, has been ruled out for the rest of the Indian Premier League 2022. He has been replaced by 19-year-old Matheesha Pathirana from Sri Lanka who bowls fast and in a slingy fashion like Lasith Malinga. The youngster who featured in Sri Lanka’s U19 squads at the 2020 and 2022 World Cups will join Chennai Super Kings at the price of INR 20 Lakh.
