(Video) Tamim Iqbal set to return for concluding South Africa Test

Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque on Thursday confirmed that veteran opener Tamim Iqbal is fit and available for the final game of the two-Test series against South Africa in Port Elizabeth. Tamim, who did not partake in any red-ball game since playing his last against Sri Lanka at the Pallekele in April 2021 due to injury, was expected to feature in the series opener in Durban, but could not make it because of a stomach problem. Opener Shadman Islam is expected to free up space for the experienced campaigner as he will open the innings with Mahmudul Hasan Joy, who became the first Bangladeshi batter to hit a Test century against South Africa.
