Babar Azam’s classy 66 in the tour-concluding solo T20I against Australia saw him equal Rohit Sharma’s feat of 26 T20I half-centuries. Pakistan lost a couple of key wickets in the middle phase but as long as Babar was out in the middle a decent score was always on the cards, and the skipper registered the 26th T20I half-century of his remarkable career. Only Virat Kohli now has more T20I half-centuries (30) than the Pakistan lynchpin. Although Australia, the reigning T20I World Cup champions, got over the line with Aaron Finch returning to form.
