Mahmudul Hasan Joy’s maiden Test hundred made sure that South Africa did not end up with a strong lead despite the hosts beginning Day 2 in a good position to do so. Mahmudul, who became the first Bangladesh batter to score a Test ton against South Africa, applied himself extremely well during his 326-ball outing for 137, which helped Bangladesh finish with a decent 298. Simon Harmer picked up four wickets while debutant Lizaad Williams returned three.
All out! Williams wraps up the Bangladesh innings with his third wicket.
