Joe Root says he wants to stay on as England captain despite the team inflicting yet another series defeat, this time at the hands of West Indies. England lost the third Test in Grenada by ten wickets on Sunday, March 27, continuing an ignominious run that has seen them win just one, and lose eleven, of their last 17 Tests. Root has been at the helm in over four series defeats in their last five rubbers and England were also behind 2-1 against India last summer before the final Test was postponed.
