England struck back with quick wickets to push West Indies on the backfoot after a steady start in the morning session of Day 2 in Grenada. They reduced West Indies from 50/0 to 69/3 to put the pressure back on the hosts, who went to Lunch on Friday on 71/3, trailing by 133. As the play resumed after the break, West Indies quickly slipped to a worrying 95/6.
West Indies, who had skittled England out by stumps on the first day, started cautiously before John Campbell started to switch gears. Craig Overton being handed the new ball didn’t work for England, but once he was brought back with the older ball, they reaped the dividends.
