Sri Lanka confirmed a full tour by Australia in June-July 2022, with the teams facing off in 3 T20Is, 5 ODIs and 2 Tests. The tour will mark Australia’s return to the island after five years. Colombo, Kandy, and Galle will host all the games, with Galle conducting both Test matches back to back.

The tour kicks off on June 7 with a couple of T20Is at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo before the teams leave for Kandy for the third T20I and the first two ODIs. The caravan returns to Colombo for the remaining ODIs and will then move to Galle for the marquee Test series which begins on June 29. The last time Australia visited Sri Lanka, they were blanked 3-0 in the longest format.
