Veerasammy Permaul’s double whammy has pegged England back in their second innings on the final day of the Barbados Test. While Alex Lees perished on 24 trying to up the ante, Joe Root got down to play a slog sweep only to top-edge the ball to a deep mid-wicket. West Indies will be overjoyed with the couple of early strikes and would look to make further incisions in a bid to make a contest out of this match, which otherwise seems to be heading towards a stalemate.
