(Video) Jadeja’s marathon effort leads India to 574/8 dec.

For the second day as well, India’s batters put in a dominating performance racking up a huge total of 574/8 before declaring on the second day of the Mohali Test. Leading the charge was Ravindra Jadeja with an unbeaten 175, his highest Test score and the best score for India at No.7.

Jadeja was involved in three partnerships worth over hundred runs – 104 with Rishabh Pant, 130 with Ravichandran Ashwin and 103* with Mohammed Shami. The innings came to an end when Rohit Sharma declared at the stroke of Tea interval as Shami was tending to a blow from a wayward throw.
