Pakistan have roped in middle-order batter Iftikhar Ahmed and fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr for the upcoming three-match Test series opener against Australia, starting March 4. Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali were sidelined from the Rawalpindi game due to injuries. Both Iftikhar and Wasim will serve three-day isolation at the team hotel upon reaching Islamabad on Sunday night before linking up with the rest of the squad after clearing their respective COVID-19 tests.
