Karnataka batters came up with an underwhelming show in their Ranji Trophy encounter against Jammu and Kashmir but the score was propped up by Karun Nair’s 175 as they ended the day on 268 for 8. The next best score of 45 came from opening batter R Samarth. An inspired Prasidh Krishna then tore through the Jammu & Kashmir line-up with six for 35 on day two of the red-ball clash at the IIT-Chemplast ground on Friday. Karnataka chose not to enforce the follow-on as seamer Ronit More was nursing a back spasm.
