(Photo) Taskin, Shakib give Bangladesh sniff of series win

Litton Das’ fifth ODI century ushered Bangladesh to 306/4 in the second ODI against Afghanistan in Chattogram. His epic 202-run stand with Mushfiqur Rahim, highest for Bangladesh for the third wicket, was at the heart of the innings. It was only Bangladesh’s fifth 200-plus stand in ODIs. The heroic alliance was backed up by bowling smarts of Taskin Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan as they picked up two wickets each to derail Afghanistan’s chasing effort. They are struggling at 164/6 after 34 overs.
