West Indies might have been handed a humiliating clean sweep in the T20I series but West Indies skipper Kieron Pollard said his team shouldn’t feel disgraced as the scoreline isn’t an accurate reflection of the fight put up by them during the three-match rubber against India. Suryakumar Yadav came up with an explosive 65 and was complemented by a well-oiled bowling effort by the seamers as West Indies fell short by 17 runs in their chase of 185 in the final T20I here on Sunday, a defeat which meant they wrapped up the India tour without a single win under their belt.
🚨KIERON POLLARD PRESS CONFERENCE🚨
🗣️Need to work on our back end with the bowling. Think generally in first 15 overs we had India where we wanted them
🗣️Batting wise we did ok, good totals but we could have maybe overhauled one of them pic.twitter.com/2wgEMhPJz3
