In the post-match presser of the opening T20I, Nicholas Pooran admitted the West Indies batters were found wanting by the Indian spinners and should have paced the innings better. Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravi Bishnoi pulled things back for India after the visitors had made a healthy start. When they take the field on Friday, West Indies will not only need to keep the series alive but will also be aiming to break India’s winning streak that has extended to seven T20Is now. For that to happen, it is important they deal with spin much better.
