Odean Smith’s journey in international cricket has only just begun, but the bowling all-rounder made a splash on Wednesday as he claimed two wickets in the second ODI against India. He grabbed the key scalps of Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli to leave India tottering at 43 for 3 in the 12th over. Even though the West Indies suffered a 44-run defeat, he chipped in with a sprightly 24 batting lower down the order. Smith considers all-rounder Andre Russell as a role model since they both play a similar brand of cricket.
